Safer treatments at home
We have put in place a number of measures to ensure that we minimise risk of transmission as much as possible. This includes appointment protocol and cash free payment, full personal protective equipment and enhanced hygiene standards
Safe set up – Professionals and customers (and their households) must be symptom-free on the day of the appointment. Treatments are to take place by an open window or in an area with good ventilation. No other members of the household should be present. All professionals carry an official NHS QR code.
PPE – Professionals will wear a type II face mask and visor for their arrival and the duration of the appointment, and gloves where appropriate. Customers are asked to wear a face covering but this isn’t mandatory.
Hygiene – All equipment and tools will be thoroughly disinfected before each appointment. All government guidance on hygiene will be followed including regular hand washing and frequent sanitisation of any surfaces used.
